- I am a graduate student at the University of Alberta, pursuing a Masters in Adult Education. I have been a programmer/analyst for just about seven years...(So as some of my friends have asked, why in the world are you switching to education?). Well, it's not really a switch, since I have always had a passion for teaching. I did an after degree in education and decided to merge my two passions. My career objective is to become an instructional designer - teaching teachers how to teach with technology. So for me, education and technology is not that far-fetched.
I can relate to what you say about Twitter. It still feels odd for me to make time to follow what has been, between Serena Williams incidents, and Kenye West incidents, gossip. On the other hand, to see the way the forum works is the lesson, and I am amazed at the hundreds of comments that get posted in the frenzy to be current.
